Bill: Safety Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Kirlawan National Party (Leftists)
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 2600
Description[?]:
We here at the DSP believe that government is here to protect the people. We believe that society has a right to be protected from the unwise actions of a few. We believe that large fireworks in the wrong hands can be very dangerous. If someone does not have proper safety training, and know what they are doing with large fireworks, the potential for disaster, not just for the man who purchased the fireworks, but for innocent bystanders, can be great. We believe that large fireworks should only be handled by professionals, so that Kirlawans are not exposed to danger. However, we do believe that small, low-risk fireworks should be allowed to the general public, as they pose little threat. We also believe that the tobacco companies must be subject to regulation, to the potentially dangerous nature of the products they sell. We believe that certain intoxicants, and dangerous chemicals, should not be allowed in our cigarretes. Certain chemicals currently in our cigarrettes can cause adverse health effects, which are unnaceptable. Not only this, but innocent bystanders will inhale these chemicals, and could become ill through them. We therefore believe companies should eliminate dangerous chemicals from all tobbacco products. So, good legislators, vote yes to the safety of Kirlawans, and no to irresponsiblity. |
