Message | We believe fully in free trade; while we find treaties to be a binding force above liberty, we agree to the provisions, and this could help us stay bound. However, we can agree to pulling out of the treaty so long as a resolution is perhaps added along with the proposal to withdraw stating our wish to remain in complience with the free trade, just not legally bound. |

Message | No, we do NOT stand for international free trade. We don't believe in getting rid international trade completely, but that it should be kept to a minimum. And there should be more restrictions on foreign products that are imported into our country. And no treaties should ever be made with foreign countries concerning it. Most products should be bought from local sources, this helps Dranians keep their jobs, and it stops greedy people and corporations from profiting. If you can't get from a local sources, then in most cases, you don't need it. |
Date | 07:19:33, July 07, 2008 CET | From | Dranland First Party (CC) | To | Debating the Withdrawal Act |
Message | Finally we can end this globalist agreement and roll-back the damage it may have caused. No more excessive internationalism and inter-dependance on other countries. No more limits to our national sovereignity, and our capacity to determine our own domestic policy regarding all tarrifs and business subsidies without binding international agreements. Any free trade agreement is a bad thing, regardless of whether it benefits our economy in the long-run or not. Sovereignity and autonomy come first. |

Random fact: Moderation will not accept Cultural Protocol updates which introduce, on a significant scale, cultures which are likely to be insufficiently accessible to players. In particular, for all significant cultures in Particracy, it should be easy for players to access and use online resources to assist with language translation and the generation of character names. Moderation reserves the right to amend Cultural Protocols which are deemed to have introduced significant cultures that are not sufficiently accessible and which are not being actively role-played with. |
