Message | We are not enormous fans of Article 1, but we will accept it in order that the others may pass. Sadly, we see Article 2 being argued over with great vengance and a furious anger, and thus removed before this bill comes to vote. |

Message | In isolation and idealisation we would tend to agree with the ECB's views on Article 1, but believe that it is a realistic and small step in the context of our modern culture. We await the kickback on Article 2 with seal...ahem, we meant zeal. |

Message | We'll support if 2 is removed. |

Message | Two shall remain. With the RPC and ECB and GMP support, we need not worry about the CP. We suggest this go to vote. |

Message | We had hoped to hear from the PC before now... |

Message | one wonders in what circumstances bestiality can be practiced *without* harming the animals in question...it's probably best not to dwell on it. no objections, though we'd just as soon the government not become extensively involved in the personal lives of its citizens. articles 1 and 3 may encourage excessive government involvement, but otherwise aren't actively problematic. |
Date | 12:16:58, July 13, 2008 CET | From | The Green Manalishi Party | To | Debating the Civil Liberties Reform |
Message | We see Article 1 as a fairly obvious system for protecting vulnerable people and article 3 as an actual way of liberating views on marriage |

Message | OOC - heh, evidently gay marriage actually *does* lead to people marrying their pets. :p |
