MessageWe apologise for the long list of proposals, but these are issues the party feels are very important to be defined for the safety of jakania and its neighours.

We will address concerns with what we anticipate will be the most disputed topics:

Article 3) We believe it is important, that while men and women are allowed to pursue careers in the industry at their choice, no private citizen should be granted the possession or control of or ability to trade vast quantities of military arms. Instead, these arms will be reserved only for the Jakanian military, knowing they will never be used in offensive operations. Ideally, we would not produce arms at all, but we realise that in reality such a suggestion is not practical.

Article 6 and 7) The party is aware of the benefits into nuclear research, and would not cripple jakania in the future by not possessing the technology to produce arms. However, for the time being, we believe it is important that all parties are prevented from creating or utilising nuclear weaponry, due to the huge collatoral damage, environmental effects, and large costs of upkeep.

Message(It's ok to have related items under one Bill, but this one is still a problem -- I would vote for it if not for articles 3 and 5.) The LP questions the motivation behind Article 5. We feel that allowing the army to intervene in police affairs can be a threat to personal libeterties, as doing as leaves the door wide open for martial law (think Seattle WTO protests).
