Message | OOC: Sorry, most of the arrangements have been done privately via private message with Parti d'Aristocratie, holding minitry of foreign affairs in the Royaume Rildanorienne Senat. Parti d'Aristocratie: "Princess Charlaine d'Orléans (b. 2588) and Princess Mathilde d'Orléans (b. 2590), cousins of the King, are both eligible to marry." KI-MP: "We will propose Her Highness Princess d'Orleans to marry the Grand Duke. I believe they have both met at a recent banquett in The Hulstarian Crownlands." The bill proposing Her Highness as his consort has been in the debate legislator for quite some time, before both the elections. So we assumed it was time that we put it to vote since there was no objection. (We are aware that it was technically a different Grand Duke but we are not aware that this is any problem. |

Message | Ok, great. They should marry and have children soon, given that Princess Charalaine is 31 and the Duchy always needs heirs. |

Message | Hmm, always opens up the possibility of another succession struggle in fourty years time if they end up all being girls... |

Random fact: It is the collective responsibility of the players in a nation to ensure all currently binding RP laws are clearly outlined in an OOC reference bill in the "Bills under debate" section of the nation page. Confusion should not be created by displaying only some of the current RP laws or displaying RP laws which are no longer current. |
