Bill: Revolutionary Communist Bill: Atheism and Secularism as the way Forward
Details
Submitted by[?]: Democratic Socialist Union
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 2620
Description[?]:
Before you start ranting on how this is illegal due to the Church of Farbanti, I would once again like to stress that the CUP did NOT have a 2/3 majority at the time being, and although it passed with a majority, it did not pass with enough votes to be considered a change to the constitution. Therefore the Church of Farbanti can not be considered an indivisible part of the government, and any attempt to minimise its role in the government is completely legal. I'm sure the CUP is bound to disagree, and even IF the Church did exist, it was only on Hutorian territory, in an unconstitutional fashion. |

Message | This also means that the arrest of one of our politicians was on unconstitutional grounds, by the way. |
Date | 10:00:36, August 11, 2008 CET | From | Conservative Union Party | To | Debating the Revolutionary Communist Bill: Atheism and Secularism as the way Forward |
Message | This is by far and away illegal. The bill clearly stated that if the bill passed iut would be unrepealable, unless of course the Church planed to repeal it, which would be impossible. Banning the Church of Farbanti would mean the arrest of all of your senior politicians and supporters. Long Live the Church! |
Date | 10:01:18, August 11, 2008 CET | From | Conservative Union Party | To | Debating the Revolutionary Communist Bill: Atheism and Secularism as the way Forward |
Message | And we didn't need a constitutional majority as those particular bills were proposals and not constitution changers or resolutions. |
Date | 17:04:54, August 11, 2008 CET | From | Democratic Socialist Union | To | Debating the Revolutionary Communist Bill: Atheism and Secularism as the way Forward |
Message | To install something which is unrepealable you need a 2/3 majority, therefore this CAN be repealed. |

Message | I think the PRCP is right, for something unrepealable, a 2/3 majority would be needed. |
