| Message | The JLSP objects to health becoming a commodity to be bought and sold, and asks that the other parties recognise that a health system driven by profits rather than patient needs will result in a dire and debilitating conflict of interest. The JLSP does not oppose the existence of private hospitals, but does not believe they should all be driven by profit and markets. We therefore ask that another party will back us in opposing this bill, if not only so that the situation can be re examined in debate. |
