Bill: Gambling Regulation Bill
Details
Submitted by[?]: Kirlawan National Party (Leftists)
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 2622
Description[?]:
We here at the DSP believe that government should not support people who fritter away their welfare money on gambling. We do not believe, that when government provides your paycheck, as it does in a socialized economy for a variety of reasons, that you should be allowed to fritter away this money. Government cannot and will not support all the gambling louts who rather than buy food with their money, go and spend it on blackjack and other things at a casino. We also do not believe casinos, a typical example of amoral big bussiness, should have any place in Kirlawa. We are not a sleazy nation, but a clean nation of honest, intelligent, hardworking and compassionate people. And these kinds of people do not blow away their families' money at a casino, whilst they have children to feed and families to clothe. So let us say yes to enforcing responsiblity, and no to allowing people to fritter away the government's money, and supporting gambling louts. |
