No-One should pay for loaning out a book and learning from it, unless they hand it back overdue. Private Companies will just make profit form people reading, and will mean the poor cannot afford to go and take out a book to read for pleasure or education. This is nothing but a vile, Tharcherite policy that hits the poorest hardest and lowers the quality of libraries. |
