| Message | Do we not still have an enormous surplus? We shouldn't need to raise taxes at this point in time. Furthermore, we should be cutting unnecessary spending as proposed in the TCP's recent budget, which was voted down, rather than increasing taxes to meet the demands of an excessive budget. |

| Message | See it from the parties which were not in favor of the tax-cuts perspective: we lost a surplus that could be used for constructive works and now the only way to correct the debt accepted by the conservatives and libertarians is government spending on very essential sections. It's lose-lose for us to correct a mistake that was not even our doing. The budget cuts have not and will not pass without some compromise; bringing back the original marginal 5% tax on luxury goods is the Lexate's best solution for actually solving this crisis. |
