Bill: Adulthood Reformation
Details
Submitted by[?]: Sons of Liberty
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: December 2632
Description[?]:
We propose this so that those who are ready before the norm may elect to take a test to prove they are mature enough to be an adult. We'd like to add in resolution to this bill that the age of adulthood will still apply for those who are unable to complete the test to become adults. This simply gives the choice to discontinue the status of minor to those who can show that they are able to be adults beforehand. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The way adulthood is determined.
Old value:: Adulthood is determined by age.
Current: Adulthood is determined by age.
Proposed: Adulthood is determined by a test.

Message | We do not understand the purpose of this legislation. The phrase 'adulthood' is simply used to define those above a certain age, for conveniences' sake. 'Minors' who are particularly mature for their age, and perhaps as mature as alot of adults, still cannot be considered adults because the term 'adult' is not simply an indication of maturity, but essentially more an indication of age alone. We can see no benefit in changing this. |
