| Message | In terms of heraldry, I think that's an ugly flag. You have "color" on "color" - the better combination is "metal" on "color" or vice versa. If the flag must be black, then I suggest a gold star. If the star must be red, then I suggest a white or gold background. I don't say this just to be obstructionist; it's a violation of the rules of tincture. Such violations tend to be loudly clashing to most eyes, even if they don't quite know why, because almost no flags violate the rule. Metals: White and Gold (also light gray "Silver" and brighter "Yellows") Colors: Everything else, essentially. |
