Bill: Presidential Constitutional Powers Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Lourenne Democratic Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: March 2643

Description[?]:

Giving the HoS this job adds to their constitutional portfolio as well as it giving new meaning to the Cabinet. We can dismiss for the tiniest thing, with the President's discretion, we may not be so quick to deny this country a working, representative Cabinet.

MessageWe'll put this on the backburner until after the election. The elections will knock it back to debate anyway, so why don't we spend a little longer debating the issue.

Sen. Alyssa Ashton-McNally (D-HA),
Prime Minister of Lourenne

MessageThe OGP agrees. We need a stabil government i.e. cabinet. But at the same time we must have a diverse Senate to foster discussions which are the cornerstone of democratic government.
