| Message | Our positions with respect to the provisions of this Act have changed. We now believe that banning pornography altogether will not benefit our nation. It will divert resources from law enforcement agencies to try to control the distribution of pornography, which would otherwise be considered harmless. It will also force the pornography industry underground and beyond government regulation. Thus, while we can sympathise with the sentiments behinds this bill, we must oppose it. |
