Message | I'm sorry, but I don't like those flags. Are they Norwegian flags from the Middle Ages? The reason I posted my original flag http://www.walkingbeard.vispa.com/zflag.png was because while it retained an Old World feel, with the shield, but the overall design was something completely different to any other flag. I don't understand why you don't like it. Maybe I could put the future National Animal on the shield? |

Message | I like the idea of us developing our own flag to be original rather than use one from another known country. But i dont have any graphics program installed to do that. I liked how Unionist Party did that design. The flag doesnt need to have the National Animal on it, that was only given as it was a unusual flag. In a way that Flag that has been designed, is appealing as it will make our Nation stand out from the others. Even tho we are all separate parties competing for votes and seats, we all would wish our Nation to be the best and show the other Nations that we are a well planned Nation. |

Message | Your first one is better. But what are you gonna do with the picture? To me it looks like it sits on a black background with the flagpole still showing.... that isn't gonna look good... Perhaps if you take those out? |

Message | I like that one. Yeah it needs the flagpole and background taken out as this shows up on Main Page also, and none of the other have flagpoles and backgrounds. |

Message | It looks like an African flag.... Try to get a flag that isn't used by a real country and try to look original. |
Date | 02:00:50, October 18, 2005 CET | From | People's Democratic Party | To | Debating the The National Flag (2120) |
Message | Parties have been slow to suggest flags so we will introduce this one with the hopes it will get passed. OTHER PARTIES MAY FREELY INTRODUCE NEW FLAGS IN THE FUTURE BUT WE REALLY NEED ONE RIGHT NOW BECAUSE OUR COUNTRY LACKS IDENTITY AT THE MOMENT. |

Message | May as well go with that Flag till we can review it again maybe at a later stage. |

Message | I don't udnerstand why this didn't pass... Isn't 266 seats enough to allow its passing? 2/3 of 401 I believe is 265, if I did my calculations correctly. |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically |
