Debate
These messages have been posted to debate on this bill:
Date | 21:23:02, November 17, 2008 CET | From | Federal Party | To | Debating the Civil Liberty Act |
Message | We like 3 and 4. However, article 1 will only lead to more people turning to drugs that are illegal and cause a drug epidemic and article 2 will let people hire anyone they want and will cause a serious increase in the number of discrimination reports in this country. Nonetheless, we will support this bill and hopefully we can come to an agreement with article 1 and 2 in the near future. |
Date | 02:32:53, November 18, 2008 CET | From | Kirlawan Austrian Party | To | Debating the Civil Liberty Act |
Message | While we would like to eventually see Article 4 be extended to total deregulation, we support this bill wholeheartedly nonetheless. |
Date | 15:31:12, November 18, 2008 CET | From | Spiritual Progressives of Kirlawa | To | Debating the Civil Liberty Act |
Message | We support Article 1, although hope some form of rehabilition services may soon be introduced to offset any epidemic aforementioned. Oppose Article 2 to the extent that we will vote against the Bill -- marginalized minorities must be encouraged and have a place in our workforce and thus must not be allowed to fall even further into entrenched injustice. This party supports freedom of speech but not at the expense of others rights, so leaning toward opposing Article 3 in favour of retaining the current status of the Bill. Article 4 the Party supports. Look forward to working with all in the future! |

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action. |
