Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The lyrics of the national anthem.
Old value:: 1. O, Dorvik's placid banks heard The resounding shouting of a heroic people. And the sun of freedom, in bright rays, Shone at this moment in the homeland's skies. As the promise of this equality Was secured by our strong arms, In your bosom, O Freedom, We are ready to die. O beloved, idolized homeland, hail, hail! Dorvik, a vivid dream, a lively ray Of love and hope settles on the earth, As in your beautiful sky, smiling and limpid, The image of the Northern Sun shines resplendent. A giant by nature, you are beautiful, Strong, an intrepid colossus, And your future mirrors this grandeur. CHORUS: O land we adore, among a thousand others You are the beloved one. You are the gentle mother of the sons of this land, Beloved homeland, Dorvik! 2. Eternally laid in a splendid cradle, To the sound of the sea and the light from the depths of the sky, Dorvik, you gleam, fleuron of the World, Illuminated by the Sun of the North. Your smiling, lovely fields have more flowers Than the most attractive land elsewhere, Our forests have more life, Our life in your bosom more love. O beloved, idolized homeland, hail, hail! Dorvik, may you have as eternal symbol The brilliant banner you display, And may the green laurel of this pennant speak Of peace in the future and glory in the past. But if you raise a strong cudgel in the name of justice, You will see that a son of yours does not run from a fight, Nor does one who adores you fear death.

1. O Dorvik, for ever you're strong righteous country! O Dorvik, for ever the land that we love! The glory that's great and the will that is mighty - So be they thy virtue for ages to come. CHORUS: Dorvik, you gleam, fleuron of the World, Illuminated by the cold Sun of the North Alone in the whole world, you stand one and only! Praised be our country! We're proud, united and free! 2. Children of the Fatherland, our time has arrived - Our enemies will vanish, like ice in the morning sun, Our persistence and our sincere toils will be rewarded, And we'll show that we, united, are a nation of worth. CHORUS 3. For generous dreaming, for living and longing The years approaching give us ample scope. With faith in our Homeland we are getting stronger. It was so, it is so and it will be so! |

Message | about your animal proposal...it's the animal of your party logo. If you want we can made coin with your party leader, you like it? If you want we can write in all our streets that your party is the best, the wonderful one you like it? If you want we can made a new state religion, the cult of your party. If Dorvik is in this situation, we can thanks your silly party and the stoopid reforms that you propose. |

Message | We are not trying to push our party ideals onto the state despite what Proletariat might think. I am trying to openly engage all users of this nation into a discussion about a mutually agreed culture adoption (for example rather then role play on yet another predominant English republic I think it would be much more exciting to adopt similar imagery/geography and a political system reflecting an under-represented nation. There is a thread: http://www.takeforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=10068&mforum=particracy on the forums broadly discussing possible cultures. Of course if the overwhelming majority of players decide against this (as Proletariat seemingly certainly will) we can just drop the whole thing. (The country I was thinking for the current proposal was Russia/Ukraine based). |

Random fact: Players are expected to behave in a courteous, co-operative manner and make a reasonable effort to act with the consent of all players involved, even where the rules do not make consent strictly necessary. In particular, players have a responsibility to take reasonable care that other players are not misinformed either about the role-play or the Game Rules. |
