| The prison system is a wasteful way to deal with crime in our nation - comparatively, the death penalty is both efficient and more justified. We see the most effective way to implement this as through the religious doctrine of the Imperial Faith. The Faith (as defined by earlier legislatures) defines death as a necessary punishment in cases of: - Murder - Rape - Treason against the Selucian Nation Similarly, these can be extended to - Crimes against humanity (for obvious reasons) - Acts of Terror where there is clear intent to kill. |
