Bill: Compensation Act on Compulsory Acquisitions (Eminent Domain) (RSA)

Details

Submitted by[?]: Imperial Democratic Coalition

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 2679

Description[?]:

Though we don't support the FRP's bill, we see this as a half-way measure which may be supportable by many parties.

Given compulsory acquisitions are a rare occurrence, we find it more just that the citizens be able to first suggest the price; with the government having recourse to the courts if necessary.
