Bill: UNITY Cabinet Proposal of February 2685

Details

Submitted by[?]: Genuine Progress Alliance

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 2685

Description[?]:

Proposing a Cabinet. This will replace the current Cabinet, which lacks 3 active ministers: one who resigned at the height of a scandal, and two who became dormant as a result of the party's recent inactivity/semi-retirement.

Changes in the new proposal:
Prime Minister - NP (to complement with the current leadership)
Finance - IPA (to replace the IPA)
Foreign Affairs - IPA (to give the ruling party another important position)
Education & Culture - SA (to replace the Reform Party)
Internal Affairs - APP (they are the 3rd ruling party, so they deserve another position to replace the Foreign Affairs post they once held)

Random fact: RP laws follow the same passing rules as in-game variable laws. Laws that are not of a constitutional nature require a simple majority "Yes" vote from active parties currently holding seats. Laws that are of a constitutional nature require a 2/3 majority "Yes" vote from active parties currently holding seats. RP laws may be abolished a simple majority vote this applies to ANY RP law.
