MessageThe WJP strongly denounces the Hizb al-Nahḍa al-Khilāfa's position to impose a rigid system of forced conversion on the tolerant community of Al'Badara, running counter to Islam's spirit of compassion and tolerance toward the people of the Book, running counter to the message of the Quran and the Prophet, peace be upon him.

It is further denounced the desire to establish an elitist clerical system in Al'Badara, despite the fact that Islam is non-clerical. The flaunted term "imam" is generically used to refer to various forms of religious leadership, ranging from the leader of a small group prayer to a scholar of religion, none of which involve any sort of religious ordination.

MessageWe do not wish to establish a elitist clerical system, and nor do our proposals do as such. If the WJP were to read the proposal they would notice that it gives local comunities the right and the ability to decide.

OOC: This was the best option supplied by the game given that "State does not intervene" does not expressly allow local governments/communities to decide on ministers of religion and all the others had "State intervention" in some form.

MessageConcern is meant at article 2, status quo does however maintains "local comunities the right and the ability to decide" albeit with some authority for the state to veto the appointment, a rather extraordinary and rare occurrence but probably necessary at times like when anti-Republican sentiments are being called for instance.
