Details

Submitted by[?]: Present-Time Imperialist Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 2694

Description[?]:

Whereas Solentia desires to unite those far-flung members of a greater Solentian state spanning southern Majatra,
Whereas Solentia has a long history of cultural relations with Quanzar,
Whereas security is found in the spirit of unification;

RESOLVED that the state adopt the following policies and measures:

(i) The articles of this Act will only become active upon the passing of a complementary and mutually-effective bill in Quanzar that ratifies and mirrors the policies and institutions described herein.
(ii) The Minister of Foreign Affairs or similarly capable minister from the Present-Time Imperialist Party will engage Quanzar in a positive dialog concerning our mutual national interests.
(iiii) Quanzaro businesses will be able to freely trade with Solentia, that is, without any trade restrictions, tariffs, or quotas beyond those placed upon domestic Solentian businesses.
(iv) Quanzaro citizens who can demonstrate their Quanzaro citizenship with the appropriate documentation will be able to visit Solentia for up to six months without need of a passport or visa. This policy will go into effect when a corresponding law of this type is effected in Quanzar. Such visitors must register with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or a Present-Time Imperialist Party Office of Travel at the border when entering and leaving the country, and Solentia will provide convenient registry stations at the border.
(v) Solentia and Quanzar will support each other's military interests (at the discretion of the respective Ministers of Defense or the Present-Time Imperialist Party), and neither nation will declare war upon the other barring a grievous and injurious violation of friendship and common protocol.

Random fact: The influence a bill has on elections decreases over time, until it eventually is no longer relevant. This can explain shifts in your party's position to the electorate and your visibility.

Random quote: "Let's not forget that we belong to history, that history that men and women who fought before did, that history that men and women who are fighting now will do." - Tera Pisthis, former Selucian politician
