Message | No, I think it's quite fair. How else are we going to look out for the well-being of the people and prevent abuse? Can you imagine the hardship imposed on people who get their land taken away without compensation? Always remember whatever powers a socialist government has will also be wielded if a capitalist one takes over. Maybe we think it's fine when we're taking over land to build a railway or a school, what if a capitalist government starts doing it so a retail corporation can build a big box store in a prime location? |

Message | The NDP makes a good argument. Nationalizing property does NOT eliminate property. It is, at best, a first step to communism. The CCC has never even considered it that. In this intermediate stage as we transition to true communism, we must not forget to treat the people with justice, regardless of our ultimate goals; else we become as hypocritical as those who came before. |

Message | Ok so when we take land of richer people for the good of the country to build schools and shelters for the working class we give the richer people more money that promotes equality. so your just taking a step back. We are not being unjust we are giving the people back what was thiers before the captialist pigs took it off them. why would a capitalist government take land then give it to a enterpreneur they wouldnt take the land as its getting involved in the running of the ecomany. Before The CCC would comment on Socialism or Communism i would wish them to brush up on thier knowledge of it. |

Message | "they wouldnt take the land as its getting involved in the running of the ecomany" Really? Because that actually has happened, quite often. The capitalist government usually gives the "it creates jobs" excuse. |

Message | well then its not a complete capitalist government then. Plus they would most likely do it with the compensation. Why should compensate people who own mass amount of land for some that the people rightfully own and we are already making a loss in our budget and yes we have great reserves from our surplus from previous years but they wont last forever. |

Message | Is everything black and white to you? "Capitalist" governments aren't necessarily pure Randroid libertarians, they might simply be cynically pro-business. |

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar). |
Random quote: “The people's war isn't just a war of destruction, it is also a war of construction. We will build new facilities, new hospitals, new farms. We will seek to improve the lives of the people around us. This struggle will be as costly as the struggle against the bourgeois army, and indeed will be even more damaging to the enemy.” - Comrade X, former Hulstrian politician |
