Bill: Economic Vitality Act (Employment) (IUC)

Details

Submitted by[?]: Imperial Democratic Coalition

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 2701

Description[?]:

1. To better allow the open market to define wages in accordance with demand, we would propose to lower the minimum wage to a more reasonable level. The current system only increases unemployment by removing low-skilled workers from the labour field due to artificially-high wages. Further, it is the state's role only to ensure all workers are able to adequately provide for themselves; it is not to allow them to spend copiously - a waste of national funds.
