Bill: I Consolidation of Public Responsibilities and Expenditure (IUC)

Details

Submitted by[?]: Imperial Democratic Coalition

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 2701

Description[?]:

It is costly and inefficient to replicate the institutional structures that inhere in governmental provision of services, so we believe the responsibilities/expenditures of the public sphere should be unified under the supervision of the Imperial government to as great an extent as practical.

These measures all aim to reduce duplication of services' provision across the nation, or simply cost-cutting through reduction in the powers of local authorities (& therefore there ability to justify extra taxation for advisory boards/committees, et cetera).
