Bill: De-Regulation of Military Industries (IU)
Details
Submitted by[?]: Imperial Democratic Coalition
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2703
Description[?]:
The Imperial Union would propose to allow private enterprise to contribute to the military progress and technology of our nation. While public control over mission-critical is ideal, private industry working on experimental or non-critical equipment is desirous to spur innovation. The conditions of this de-regulation would be: A - all mission-vital equipment will be developed and produced by state industry. B - private entities may compete for contracts based on advancing our military technologically, and in relation to exceptional capabilities (i.e., outside necessary national-security parameters). C - private entities will not be recipients of no-bid contracts. All state contracts will be competitively granted, or held by state-owned industries. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change The nation's defence industry.
