MessageThe Orange Party are against this nationalization proposal. We firmly believe in privatization and devolution. We saw this State housing bill as a necessity, but this is not. Government closer to home is more effective government, and competition betters performance.

MessageWe're not trying to strip power from the people, but leaving things privatized or completly up to local government is dangerous. Should a private company go under that controls something such as the power grid, the nation is left without power. Leavign it up to local governments can create massive inequality. One region has the best health, transportation, ect. while the other has nearly nothing because that local government was corrupt, didn't have the funds, ect. It produces an elitist like society where one region is better than another.

MessageWe would ask the OP to at least consider changing their views towards article 1. This would put more power to the people, and reduce the risk of a major power failure. Should each region control their own power grid, then if one fails, the others won't. with the current system, a collapse of this single company would mean the collapse of the entire nation's power grid.

MessageWe will not support Article 4, but we will support Article 1. A national fire department can help if there ever is massive forest fire. Such a disaster could overwhelm local FDs and cause tremendous damage, not just to the environment, but to infrastructure, people's lives, and even people themselves.

MessageWe at the NEP have removed all proposals besides article 1. We believe that this is a need that needs to be met asap, so we left it the only article standing to allow the debates to end and the voting to begin.
