Bill: The Foreigners Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Selucid Worker's Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 2708

Description[?]:

It is our fear that our country is becoming too xenophobic. One of the reasons a democracy works is because there are several different ideas within that country. Right now, our security levels at our borders are far too high and they discourage outsiders from coming to our grand country. It is of our opinion that loosing the control of our borders a bit would allow these people to come to our land and spread the word of greatness among their people. We should work toward inspiring other countries into following our footsteps.

Random fact: Zardugal is a nation based on the old Byzantine Empire, with a modern twist and the Esperanto language. Zardugal is located on the continent of Majatra.

Random quote: "Who are the militia? Are they not ourselves? Is it feared, then, that we shall turn our arms each man gainst his own bosom. Congress have no power to disarm the militia. Their swords, and every other terrible implement of the soldier, are the birthright of an American...[T]he unlimited power of the sword is not in the hands of either the federal or state governments, but, where I trust in God it will ever remain, in the hands of the people." - Tenche Coxe
