Message | We feel this issue needs to be revisited, especially now that the parliament is more evenly balanced. The NEP believes that because the Head Of State will be the one directly working with the Cabinet, he/she should have the sole power to decide who to include in it. We also feel that as part of that responsibility, they should have to ask the party members first if they would like to be in that position. This ensures that someone isn't elected to a position they wish not to have. |
