Message | Ridiculous, subversive and unacceptable... The national flag is not a "piece of cloth" but a national cohesive force. The national flag may be regarded as ugly etc., but it is not useless. And it does definitely not undermine the freedom of the citizens, rather it guarantees. We see that the AWF's conception about freedom is very strange. This shows the dumbness of its leaders. Lord Klausenburg, a famous political scientist would call the representatives of the AWF to a discussion around the topic of liberty. If not, we suggest reading some major philosophical treatises about freedom. Victria von Bruckenthal, Vice-Chairman, REP |

Message | We agree with the sentiment of the REP - the flag of our nation is a physical and symbolic embodiment of this nations values and principals, and it is appalling to think that someone would intentionally desecrate and deface it. However, the real foundation of our country is not comprised of abstract ideas and symbols - it is comprised of concrete institutions, traditions, and culture. We should not give too much importance to national icons, as true patriotism is wanting what's best for our country and its people. We are divided on this issue, and we cannot vote either way at present. |

Message | What can any self declared elitist understand of the yearnings for freedom of the oppressed and downtrodden? Of course our conception of freedom is different to yours, the elite wishes to be free to oppress and exploit, the working class wish to be from oppression and exploitation. |
Date | 01:34:37, February 16, 2009 CET | From | Imperium Party | To | Debating the Free Speech Bill |
Message | We hold the same views from our colleagues of the RPP and REP. Prime Minister Abraham James Zoratatt |
Date | 03:30:44, February 16, 2009 CET | From | Rutanian Restoration Party | To | Debating the Free Speech Bill |
Message | The Orange Party firmly believe in freedom of speech, but we do believe this is taking it to far. The flag is a symbol of our freedoms, it would be like burning the freedom that our forefathers fought so hard for. |
