Bill: Economic Stimulus Package: Spending

Details

Submitted by[?]: Conservative Union

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 2714

Description[?]:

In a opposition to President Richard Johnson's stimulus bill, and to help a economy in trouble, the Conservative Union proposes new spending. Here are some major points in the budget:

Infrastructure and Transport: More spending to create more jobs by building more roads and bridges and such, more money on public transit (which also creates jobs), and so on.

Defense To be prepared if anything were to happen; countries are more vulnerable in a bad economy

Health and Social Services: To provide hospitals more money to hire staff, supplies, and any repairs. More money for social welfare programs.

Science and Technology: More money to research for a more advanced way of life.

Everything will create thousands of more jobs.
