|New Aloria Party History:|
Founded over 700 years ago by Kyle Lenoir Wick Stone (originally as People’s Party), the party disappeared after the death of former President Bill Owens. The party was than founded again as the Alorian Independent Party, (AIP) in 3666 by Ryan Cane who took over as Chairman before disbanding years later until 3794. The party historically has been independent and bucks ideology many times with a legendary sensitive. Leadership of the party is made up of a Chairman and Vice-Chair who are elected by a delegate body at annual conventions, the delegate body is 545 members elected by state party committees. Party law dictates that Chair MAY nominate a candidate to be confirmed for Vice-Chair, it also gives power to an empowered body made up of 13 selected members, delegates, and party leaders that ensure party leadership is directing message of the party. This body is the National Steering Committee, which historically was powerful but has moved more to an advisory and consent role, they also help over-see the convention and the election of its delegates by local steering committees.
NSC- National Steering Committee also has control over-seeing the creation and removal of positions within the party’s structure, have ability to hire and fire party officials with super-majority vote for later. The NSC also endorses members for nomination for different offices, before nomination conventions. Currently the committee has a slight favor to business faction but, 3820 election endorsed more centrist faction candidates.

-Business Faction: As of 3825, the business faction has a 50% majority of the new delegate bodyThe new platform by the faction calls for reduction of business tax to 5 percent and elimination of sales tax altogether funding by cuts to Health and Education and outsourcing government resources to private sector.

-Centrist Faction: As of 3825 the faction is being led by newly elected Senator Elias Charnel before Governor of Kurmal, and now it's current Governor. The faction picked up 10% coming to 41% of the delegate body. They are pushing for an increase in the business tax back to 12 percent with reduction of defense spending and also creating a bipartisan commission to address economical and natural problems. Charmel has personally called for the elimination of the Prime Minister stressing the need for a “stronger Presidential executive office”.
-The Liberal Fraction: In 3825 convention election the liberal faction earned 9 percent of the vote under the lead by Senator Tia Jones of Sildar. The faction has called for in the past complete union protection, and increased Health, Education, and strong investments of Technology budgets. They also support a radical secular agenda. Jones was Science and Technology Minister until a new cabinet under President Joe McCloud passed.
