| This bill is to allow any adult without a dangerouse criminal history to own a gun. This will allow people to better protect their. This is also expected to reduce crime by preventing home invasion. |

Old value:: Adult individuals may not own firearms unless professionally required.
Current: Individuals are not permitted to own firearms under any circumstances.
Proposed: Individuals are allowed to own firearms as long as they do not have a history of dangerous mental illness or a violent criminality.

| Message | Since only specially trained police forces can carry weapons Crimson Moon Party believes it is only right to give people the right to protect themselves from those who don't obey the gun laws. Also this will help keep the guns out of lawbreakers hands. We believe this will drastically lower crime. Who wants to break into a house when the owner is likely to have a gun? |

| Message | We are not allowing criminals to purchase guns. We all know they get them anyway so what will we achieve from keeping it out of law obiding citizens hands? We are not promoting vigilantism but simply self defense. Few police officers are allowed to carry weapons of lethat force and if civilians aren't then what are you to do if a man with a gun comes into your home? Action must be taken to protect our people and I believe sufficient action has yet to occur. |

| Message | That's why the police have firearms squads. If you don't have lots of guns out there, the number of times someone threatens you with a gun is also going to be less. Furthermore, let me point out that people with convictions for "non-violent" offences can still obtain guns under this legislation. |
