Message | The AP supports this bill. |
Date | 15:14:46, March 21, 2009 CET | From | Modern Revolutionary Socialist Party | To | Debating the Pets Act |
Message | The reason this law exists is to provide some small aspect of care and protection for animals. The SSSP is not a party that gets sentimental over animals but we feel the current law is appropriate. We would support having people register with their local government. |

Message | The disadvantages of inflating useless bureaucracy outweigh any claimed abuses to domestic animals that would supposedly arise from such deregulation. |

Message | The SDP would prefer a more concrete definition of what exactly counts as 'domesticated', but considering that that is currently not possible, we support this bill. The current law is practically unenforceable and to attempt enforcement would suck up an inordinate amount of government resources better spent elsewhere. |
