Message | It's not as if the National Party MPs had been doing anything for the whole last term ... the seats are only slightly more vacant than before. |
Date | 23:36:20, March 22, 2009 CET | From | National Populist Party | To | Debating the Call for early elections, September 2729 |
Message | That's not the point. The point is that not all of the population is being represented. Is this not a democracy? Shame on the PPP. |

Message | It's not as if any region doesn't have any representation now that the NP is gone. And did the National Party really represent their voters, doing nothing? |
Date | 11:34:53, March 23, 2009 CET | From | Green Party of Aldegar | To | Debating the Call for early elections, September 2729 |
Message | We sadly have to disagree with the Progressives this time. |

Message | It's not as if we're adamantly opposed to early elections, so there is no need to be sad about the disagreement between Progressives and Greens. It's just that we don't regard them as absolutely necessary, for the reasons that the parties that have fallen inactive did not provide any representation to the people anyway and that we are in any case for reducing the number of seats. That's why we do not agree with the Berosian Party's absolute declaration that these vacancies 'must' be filled. |
Date | 14:19:37, March 23, 2009 CET | From | Green Party of Aldegar | To | Debating the Call for early elections, September 2729 |
Message | National earned the seats from an election in a democratic system, so to say that they did not provide any representation to the people is an attack to our democratic foundations. The fact that Aldegar is still a very conservative society does not give us lefties the right to put the blame on right wing parties. |

Message | The National Party may have been elected to represent, but factually they didn't. And if there was any attack to our democratic foundations, it was the inactivity of the National Party. And the fact that Aldegar may still be a very conservative society does not give the left the right to be stupid. |

Random fact: Party candidates for head of state elections are not visible to the public. This means that you cannot see who will run and who will not, which adds another strategic element to the elections. |
