MessageThe treaty is non-binding. There's no harm in joining it.

MessageThere is no need to join this alliance at the moment. Besides, there aren't very many other nations. It's a feeble attempt at creating a world order, which Aldegar should have no part of.

Aldegar for the Aldegarians, not Aldegar for the people of Terra.

MessageI assume you don't want any allies on the national stage, do you? And Aldegarians are part of Terra, so I think they count as people of Terra.

MessageOn the contrary, Aldegar needs allies and trading partners just as any other nation. We just do not need to bury ourselves in a United Nations, especially when this "United Nations of Terra" only has 4 other member states.

MessageThe United Nations of Terra is a new organisation and the number of members is rapidly rising. Unlike the party's of the right, who seemingly cannot see beyond the tips of their noses, we recognise the potentail in this oragnisation, and the earlier we join, the more likely it is that Aldegar can play an important role in it.

MessageUnlike the PPP, who seem to spew insults, rather than intelligent arguments in favor of joining, the NPP still does not agree with joining the United Nations. Perhaps later, when the UN features a more prominent role in Terra and will not waste our time and efforts will we join.

MessageThe rapid growth of the United Nations remains a clear indicator of the shortsightedness of the right-wing parties in this matter. We maintain that we would have better realized our potential within that organisation had we joined now rather than waiting until the NPP think they're not wasting their time.
