Message | Indeed, we must help the armed forces to defend our people, not hinder them in doing their duty. |

Message | Opposed. We feel that these horrible weapons do have a role, but as a deterrent, held in reserve to prevent an enemy from using similar ones against us. The current law does precisely this, and we support it. With the proposed changes, an enemy who planned to attack Kirlawa conventionally would notice that doing so could bring a WMD response from us ... and so they would have much less reason to refrain from using them themselves in their initial assault on us. :( "In for a penny, in for a pound," from their perspective. (Wiktionary: "Originally with reference to the fact that if one owed a penny, one might as well owe a pound, as the penalties for [both] were virtually identical in severity.") |

Random fact: Moderation will not accept Cultural Protocol updates which introduce, on a significant scale, cultures which are likely to be insufficiently accessible to players. In particular, for all significant cultures in Particracy, it should be easy for players to access and use online resources to assist with language translation and the generation of character names. Moderation reserves the right to amend Cultural Protocols which are deemed to have introduced significant cultures that are not sufficiently accessible and which are not being actively role-played with. |
