Message | Revenue 658,822,372,007 BEL Expenses 13,578,250,000,000 BEL Totaling -12,919,427,627,993 BEL So why should we vote for a bill to spend a lot more money at this time? If the government had a surplus there could be a good argument for the spending but right now passing this would be foolish. |

Message | So you're telling the people of Beluzia that they will be left to rot until the government finds time to balance the budget! If you're serious about saving, why not support the slashing defence spending, and abolition of the nuclear programme! This bill will save far more lives than tanks, guns and bombs ever have! |

Message | HAHA ^-- funny Yes your right lets hand everything to the people so lazy asses dont have to earn a living. Then we can cut defenses so that any country or random militia can carry out an attack aginst. Your right being captured is not so bad. They can only torture us over time or kill us on the spot. Thats much better than working hard to earn money for meds or health ins. |

Message | When people don\'t have have to pay for their medical drugs, they have more money. When they have more money, they can spend on other things more, stimulating the economy. It\'ll pay for itself. I would also like to remind the RCP that they are contradicting themselves with their argument against slashing the defense budget. They voted yes to a budget proposed by we at the SDP that cut defense spending to 1,000,000,000,000. That is a dramatic reduction in the defense budget. We would ask that the RCP pick a side on the issue instead of flip flopping to suit their current argument. Our Minister of finance is willing to look at revising the budget again if he can count on receiving some input from the other parties. We also proposed a new tax bracket that the RCP voted against which would have provided more funds. |

Message | We never said we will not support lowering defensive spending. We voted to lower defensive spending to help with the huge deficit but it was still going to be at a level that we believed to be safe. We will not endanger our countries freedom or the lives of our service men and women by cutting necessary funding for supplies, weapons and technology just to have that money wasted on medicines for every citizen, whether they can afford it or not, in our country. The minimum wage in place is at a level will allow most people to buy meds or get insurance. As for anyone struggling financially, there has been no policy brought forward to target price reductions for meds or assistance to the families enduring the hardship. We are in no way against assisting the needy but we will not allow people to take advantage government funds when you can do without. |
