Debate
These messages have been posted to debate on this bill:
Date | 10:55:47, October 18, 2005 CET | From | Democratic Labour Union | To | Debating the Freedom to Drive Act |
Message | The DLU stands vehemently against this proposal and surprised at the JCP’s stance against the environment. Transport and energy production are the worlds largest benefactors of CO2 emissions, both of which require the government to take decisive action. |
Date | 01:08:54, October 20, 2005 CET | From | Jakanian Liberal Socialists | To | Debating the Freedom to Drive Act |
Message | People do not have a right to destroy something they have no ownership of. Allowing people to pollute the environment, whether that of their neighbours or their future children, is unacceptable. To allow otherwise is nothing but an attempt to make a cheap profit at the expense of others. |
