Bill: Abolishing the International Agreement to Prevent the Rise of Autocracy in Terra

Details

Submitted by[?]: Slaytanic Wehrmacht

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2130

Description[?]:

This bill proposes to abolish the International Agreement to Prevent the Rise of Autocracy in Terra ( http://82.238.75.178:8085/particracy/main/viewtreaty.php?treatyid=28 ) for the following reason:

a) Our Citizens assembly should be always allowed to vote freely for the options they want, not being bound by some treaty
b) This treaty discriminates against a certain political viewpoint. We have no way to make our point of view clear to the voters, because all our options are forbidden. Socialists wouldn't be happy if they couldn't vote for socialism, libertarians wouldn't be happy if they couldn't vote for capitalism. But all of you can vote freely, only i cannot. Hereby I ask to stop this political oppression and let every party have the options it wants, and the position it prefers. After all, it's the voters who decide what's good and what's not, and not some stupid treaty.

MessageI would like to note that voting in favor of repealing this bill does not mean condoning the things it bans. But it will allow us to permit many minority viewpoints being presented in parliament.

MessageSupported for the same reasons. (I always enjoy the futile RCP monarchy bills.)

Messagethis treaty does not only affect authoritarians btw, but also socialists. This bill prevents the government from seizing property from rich people who only earned their property by exploiting small children in factories, selling arms to 3rd world countries.

Eminent Domain.

The policy of their national government and law should be:

The government may not seize private property.

MessageThe convention allows the government to seize property for vital government works, actually, which is probably enough to keep socialists happy given that Lodamun mostly has libertarian socialists not big-govt socialists. But it prevents too many laws, like the idea of having only some of the police armed.
