Bill: Crackdown on extremist groups and sectional violence

Details

Submitted by[?]: Parti Révolutionnaire des Travailleurs

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2757

Description[?]:

We hereby propose a crackdown on 'La Volonté Gens', the Solentian-Kafuristani republican terrorist organisation responsible for the assassination of Louise-Elisabeth, former Queen of Kanjor, believed to have been behind several terrorist attacks in Kanjor.

We also propose to crackdown on other radical groups, such as 'Le Réalignement', the radical monarchist paramilitary group who have been responsible for notable attacks against republicans, and have engaged in something akin to gang warfare with 'La Volonté Gens' groups.

We must restore order in Kanjor, and curb the violence which is spreading throughout our republic. We need L'Assemblée to pledge a crackdown on these extremists, and a pledge to bring them to justice.

MessageThere is something to this; are these the only groups the Estates-General will be "attacking" or is this merely an attempt to reimpose dictatorial rule by declaring a de facto marshall law?

MessageWe intend to give L'Assemblée ratification for new programmes aimed at tackling the sectional violence instigated by both sides of the republic-monarchist foray. This is not a resurgence of the controversial Anti-Fascist Act, this is a non-partisan bill aimed at uniting all parties behind a common goal: restoring peace to our streets.
