Debate

Message | The SA doesn't support the illigality of Adultery, nor the recogniction of foreign marrage due to the fact that a loop hole is made such. A person can enter an illegal union in a foreign nation, yet we must endorse this union, by our own laws and standards. This is unacceptable as it creates a haven for those that would use our legal system thus. Hence creating a set of double standards in our society. For this reason the SA cannot accept this bill. We suggest that this bill be removed from vote and Article 3 re-addressed. |

Message | PCU Opposes Article three for the same reasons outlined above. We also oppose Article 1 in that we believe that any sort of legislation on the part of adultery is undue government interference upon the populace. We urge no comment on adultery. We wish to see more intensive screenings with regard to adoption, and on that note oppose Article Four. Recommend the bill be taken down, Article One struck from the text, and Articles Three and Four amended. |
Date | 05:01:32, July 31, 2009 CET | From | Libertarian International | To | Debating the Reasonable Liberties |
Message | As above. Article 3 is very much a problem for this bill. |
