Message | We the OSP believe the government is elected by the people with its primary function to look after the welfare of the people. Children should not have access to intoxicating beverages and neither should the gutter snipe who would sell them it! |

Message | I appeal to the JLS, vote YES, those who would profit of the sale of alcohol must not be given the chance. The responsible adults must be allowed to enjoy themselves in the knowledge that their support of the drinks industry of Jakania is morally unquestionable! |

Message | The JLSP respects the Ogden Sinclair Party's position, but believe that age limits as applied to things such as the usage of alcohol are something to be decided by individuals and families rather than government legislation. This is a common theme in the JLSP's legislation. As compromise we may in future vote in favour of allowing the sale of alcohol only at licensed vendors, but only a compelling and balanced arguement presented in favour of that. We applied licensing to gambling institutions in an attempt to prevent people from taking advantage of the pursuit's addictive nature. We can see how the same may be required in this situation. At present we don't see a need for this, and are content with the current legislation, but stress that our main opposition to this bill stems from the age restrictions. |

Message | Thank you for your input JLSP, I assumed that was probably why, just wish I had aited before putting it to a vote. Of course I do still believe their is a case for age restrictions although taking a responsible parent setup as a given these cases are very specific possibly not viable for consideration in general legislation |
