Message | "Krsyijotrnat has long felt that the destiny of one region - its successes and tribulations - should help guide the others as we approach the perfect law for our people through consistent assessment. We must also bear in mind that minorities in each of the Taghe may not hold the same facets dear as others, making regional variation essential to the stability of the union. For one to narrow the rule of four will cause the four to rise against the one." |

Message | Ah, but we have five regions, and not four. While we appreciate the flowery words of our colleague, we must point out that one of those regions actually contributes 1/3rd of the vote. Having 25 out of 75 votes is still better than having 0 out of 75 votes. Our position on this platform stands, even if we get consistently voted against. Huzzah! |

Message | "A third is still not a mandate for the oppression of the remaining two thirds. If one overrules all of the regions, four regions are overruled out of the five. We believe the nascent party have misinterpreted the statement for the sake of technicalities over substance!" OOC: Careful now. :P |

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation. |
Random quote: "The first step in freeing yourself from social restrictions is the realization that there is no such thing as a 'safe' code of conduct, one that would earn everyone's approval. Your actions can always be condemned by someone, for being too bold or too apathetic, for being too conformist or too nonconformist, for being too liberal or too conservative. So it's necessary to decide whose approval is important to you." - Harry Browne |
