Message | OOC: "Terrorists" may perhaps "have attacked" the Democratic Party's (extremely) war-torn imagination, but certainly not in Kirlawa. Although up to 42 characters involved do belong to you, at the very least 158 belong to other players, who have not consented (and, I sincerely hope, will not consent) to this. Some relevant portions of the rules, posted by AdJeCtIv3, Particracy moderator: http://forum.particracy.net/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=23 > 5.3.7 A Roleplay is only valid if all players involved consent to it and > continue to do so throughout the duration > 5.3.5 A player may only affect other players' characters with their prior permission, > otherwise it is Character Stealing as defined in Section 9.4. > 9.4 ~CHARACTER STEALING: The act of implementing a character in an event that > does not belong to the player without the permission of the player who created the character. > 9.5 ~GODMODING: from GODMODifying or GODMODE; The act of RPing unfairly, > unrealistically and/or ignorantly to benefit your own characters or nation at the > expense of others following the rules and conventions of The Game. ... I feel that this last one should be clarified, to also cover RPing unfairly, unrealistically and/or ignorantly to _harm_ one's own nation ... since that's pretty much all that the Democratic Party have been doing, over and over and over, ever since they arrived here a couple of weeks ago. On the other hand, to me it's pretty clear that they have zero allegiance to Kirlawa, merely seeing this peaceful nation as some expendable playground for them to abuse. :( |

Random fact: Players are expected to behave in a courteous, co-operative manner and make a reasonable effort to act with the consent of all players involved, even where the rules do not make consent strictly necessary. In particular, players have a responsibility to take reasonable care that other players are not misinformed either about the role-play or the Game Rules. |
