Message | A happy day in Kirlawa :) ... although tempered by two things: 1) they'll be back, and probably sooner rather than later; and 2) at least they were a consistent vote for peace, which is one of the few issues on which we agree with them. Holding 255 seats out of the currently occupied 479, and with a year to go until the next scheduled election, KPJP could turn down this proposal, and instead use this time and this majority to pass anything we want (except constitutional changes and treaty ratifications). However, that would be taking unfair advantage of the system. We are a party who believe in fairness. Furthermore, the only other bill (with actual proposals in it) currently being voted on, is ours; so there's no need to delay an election for this, in contrast to the several other recent times that this situation has occurred. We can easily re-propose it after the election. |

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar). |
