Bill: Recreational Drug Use Bill: 2

Details

Submitted by[?]: People's Equality Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 2134

Description[?]:

This is the same bill the People's Equality Party proposed recently, but I forgot to put the proposals in. Basically instead of having drug use regulated by local governments cannabis would be a legal, if highly regulated substance, in much the same way as alcohol

MessageUnfortunately, immediate legalisation of all drugs is not something that can be tackled in an actual environment. Why would you deny someone who uses marijuana, just because heroin is still illegal? That doesn't make sense.

MessageI do not agree with this, we should just leave it up to local goverments.

Random fact: When you join the game, you will find yourself with only zero seats. That's because your party's representatives haven't been elected yet. You need to establish your party's position on issues by proposing several bills that your party wants passed and sending them to vote. This raises your visibility and if you do it enough, you will win seats at the next election.
