MessageWe are surprised that the Lusks have voted in favour of an alliance with republicans. We thought that, above all else, their commitment was to a monarchical system. Monarchists across Hutori will be extremely concerned.

MessageThe URR actually contains a Luskite faction based on some of the more extreme teachings of the Count of Saint Anselm, Henry Lusk. Benedict II, possessed of a very phlegmatic temperament, has given tentative support to some ideas within the Luskite movement which his father, or any of the other Princes Lusk, would ever have tolerated, including elective monarchy, Hutori legitimism, and even republicanism. The central concern of the NSP these days is not so much monarchy qua se but instead the more general ideas of stewardship and philosophical leadership. The Doctrine Committee, convened by the Fourth Party Congress, is working on a document called the "Nine Points" which will illuminate the NSP platform.
