I. The Speaker of the House is the president of the legislature. II. The Speaker shall be elected by a two-round election from the legislature, with each party receiving one vote as a corporate body. No party may vote for a candidate of their own nomination. III. Each party, as a corporate body, may nominate one individual for the position. IV. The Speaker of the House shall serve for ten years, and shall not be eligible for re-election. V. The Speaker of the House's office shall be responsible for keeping records of the transactions and proceedings of the legislature. |

Message | I. The Speaker of the House is the presiding officer of the legislature, and oversees debates and ministerial statements. II. The Speaker shall be elected by a two-round election from the legislature, with each party receiving one vote as a corporate body. Each party shall nominate on candidate, but no party may vote for their own candidate. III. The Speaker of the House shall serve for ten years, and shall not be eligible for re-election. IV. Upon their election, the Speaker must resign his political party membership and renounce all other political affiliations, remaining politically impartial. V. The Speaker of the House's office shall be responsible for keeping records of the transactions and proceedings of the legislature. |
