Message | Rt Hon Duchess Thompson MP: Mr Speaker, on what grounds should gambling me illegal? I just cannot think of a single one. In some ways, I see the purpose of devolution, but on this case, I just cannot. In parts of Lagard, gambling is completely illegal, even in private homes, playing cards. In much of Kenai, there are no regulations whatsoever. The national parliament has already accepted that there could be complete deregulation given its devolution of these powers, so we should give people back their civil rights, and allow them to decide for themselves whether they wish to engage in gambling. |
